Layering for Success: Happy National Strawberry Sundae Day! 🍓🍦

While National Strawberry Sundae Day is a great excuse to grab a cool treat in the middle of summer, building a great sundae actually serves as a solid reminder of how we should structure our business decisions.

In commercial real estate, we evaluate properties and lease negotiations using a very similar, layered framework. We start with an empty bowl and then start building our vision for something satisfying. Location, parking, rates and inviting interior design all get layered into your bowl.  

Everyone has their own process for building their perfect sundae, and here is our approach to a great dessert this time of year:

We suggest that the fruit goes in first, this sets the foundation for the ice cream, then we put on the whipped cream to hold those toppings right where you put them. I like to go with some fresh strawberries and then smother them with a sweet syrup… and most of all, don’t forget to add that cherry on top! 🍒 

So take some time and build yourself a tasty treat, one good to look at and even better to eat…
